Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Have you ever thought about how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors could all be connected? That is precisely what CBT allows you to do, draw connections to those intrusive thoughts that hold you back and create negative beliefs about yourself or the world around you that are ineffective. CBT offers a different perspective to challenge and modify those thoughts, feelings, and behaviors resulting in a more positive interaction with yourself and others.
Mindfulness
This intervention allows you to reflect on situations and feelings without passing judgment with the goal of connecting mind and body and practicing self-compassion.
Motivational Interviewing
We are creatures of habit and at times we recognize the importance of changing those habits but find it difficult. MI will guide you to explore stages of change to better understand your ambivalence and take the steps needed to change the behavior.
Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
Focusing on early-life experiences and recognizing recurring patterns highlighted in the therapeutic relationship can be an effective way to identify challenges in interpersonal relationships and find ways to transform those interactions.
